Of the 750 Kona Coffee Farms, only about 50 are Certified Estates (single origin, one operator in control of all phases of production), and of 750, there are only 40 or so Organic Farms. We are both, and won the Silver Medal last year, and an Excellence Award this year in the State-wide contest by Hawaii Coffee Association.

In July, the Hawaii Coffee Association held its first ever State-wide Coffee Cupping Competition (about 70 participants from all over Hawaii). Lyman Kona Coffee won an Excellence Award.

In November, The annual Kona Coffee Festival took place. We were among the 15 (out of 70?) who advanced to the Finals.

During the same festival, we had entered our new coffee bag labels into the Label Competition. We won the Sponsor's Prize. That is really great, because the sponsor is Gevalia, a coffee giant. They've taken note.

  Christmas and the Holiday    Season are coming--for sure!

Your short-cut to Holiday Shopping: Send us your list of relatives and friends to whom you wish to send our Organic Estate Coffee as presents, and we'll do the rest! We will make sure you'll get all applicable Quantity Discounts per our listing on the site. As a bonus, we will include a personal message sticker, with your name as the sender, on each package!

Here on our high elevation farm at 2000 feet, we count our season from one August to the next. So far, we have picked 3 rounds Cherry, the fourth one next week (last Season: 15).

including fertilizers and nutrient sprays, as well as all pest control. We grow'em slowly, but boy, they come in as the largest and densest beans in the Coffee Belt. We pick all by hand when they are fully sun-ripened (that's why we have so many rounds). We process within hours in our own mill, here on Lyman Farms. After drying on our deck, we store the "parchment beans" in our own climate controlled container. You can't do it better: we pamper your coffee during every step!   We we will continue to produce the best coffee in the world. It's known as the "Champagne of Coffees".
